Guisadong Puso ng Saging and Tortang Puso ng Saging

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 1 piece puso ng saging (haba), washed, minced and squeezed thoroughly
  • 3 tablespoons Mama Sita's Oyster sauce
  • 1 stalk spring onions, chopped
  • Oil for frying
  1. Heat oil and saute the garlic and onion.
  2. Add puso ng saging and cook until the liquid has dried up.
  3. Add spring onions and Mama Sita's Oyster Sauce.
  4. Mix well, remove from heat and let cool.
Makes 4 to 5 servings

Variation: You can also make tortang puso ng saging.
Makes 16 tortas (2 inch dia.)
  1. Add 2 pieces (120 g) eggs, and 1/4 cup (30g) cornstarch to cooled mixture.
  2. Form into patties and pan-fry.
